This is so exciting! Since Life and Times on Pleasant Pond was published, I have been asked many times, "How did you write the book?" "How did you know how to begin?" Then I hear, "I have an unfinished book." "I have always wanted to write a book." "What do I do?"

To answer these questions and thoughts, but never asked . . . I have put together a writers workbook to help answer some of these questions - So You What to Write a Book.

I will happily answer your questions and provide you with my workbook. For those intrigued by this idea, gather your friends, acquaintances, and book club members and just ask me.

■Writing the book was a labor of love, marketing the book is crazed determination
■When asked to the write book: researched, requested, and wrote. When published - discovered the work (challenge) had just begun.
■To create a masterpiece - easy. Getting someone to buy it - rocket science.
■Completing the book was a test of will – marketing the book - a test of strength and perseverance.
Guess what - LL Bean has Life and Times on Pleasant Pond!
Book shelf of LL Bean, Freeport, ME
I am very happy to inform all my blog readers Life and Times on Pleasant Pond has made it a bookshelf in LL Bean. I am so proud of this achievement. I remember while writing my book, my ultimate goal was to make it the quality LL Bean would want on their bookshelf. I received my first LL Bean order Dec 2011 and April 2012 they reordered. I am beyond excited.

I was just talking to LL Bean's Special Events planner. I have been invited to be part of their Maine Author's Day July 6, 2012 during Freeport's Hometown Celebration July 6. Come visit!!
